With the coronavirus (covid-19) continuing to wreak havoc on our everyday lives, Moda are pleased to announce that we’re introducing a contactless delivery service to help keep things running smoothly while ensuring our customers stay safe.
In an effort to contain the virus, many people are being asked to self-isolate and practice social distancing, something that’s likely to affect the majority of us in the coming weeks. In these unprecedented times of uncertainty when the whole country is on high-alert, our number one priority is the health and safety of our customers and staff members.
We don’t rely on any third-party delivery companies, so as well as avoiding the delays being seen across the courier industry, delivering our own furniture also allows us to implement our own safety measures.
That’s why we’re now offering a contactless delivery service, where you can receive your order to your door without having to come into contact with our delivery team. This helps to keep all parties safe, and ensures your self-isolation isn’t affected when receiving your furniture.
When making an online purchase, customers will now be given the option of a contact-free delivery. If you choose this option, the driver will take a photograph of your order, log the GPS and sign the proof of delivery on your behalf.
Once your order is delivered, our team will notify you with a quick phone call to confirm your goods are outside. They’ll also wait in the van to make sure you collect your order before leaving.
In addition to washing and sanitising their hands after drop-off, our delivery teams will be following the government’s advice by staying at least 2m away from any member of the public, helping to prevent the spread of the virus while we’re on the road.
We understand these are troubling times for our customers, and we want to assure you we’re taking this as seriously as you are. Currently, we’re monitoring the situation closely and following guidance by the government as and when it becomes available.
