More about our furnitureModa Furnishings Limited went into administration on 14 July 2023, and all company assets were handed over to appointed administrators. Since then, the company has been bought by new owners, Giomani Designs Limited, and the business now trades under new ownership.

If you used the Company’s ‘buy now pay later’ scheme
Subject to stock availability, the Purchaser will seek to satisfy your order. You can contact the Purchaser on the following number 0161 683 0158 or via email hello@modafurnishings.co.uk.
If you paid with a credit card for an order totalling over £100
If your order was placed on or before 14 July 2023 and i) has not been delivered; and, ii) you did not pay via the Company’s ‘buy now pay later’ scheme, the order will no longer be fulfilled.
You may be able to make a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act by contacting your credit card provider to determine if you are eligible to make this claim.
To submit a claim, it is likely your provider will ask for the following:
If your credit card provider refuses to refund you, you might make a formal complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. For further details, please click here.
If you paid with a debit card or credit card for an order totalling under £100
If your payment to the Company was made using a debit card or credit card under £100 and you have evidence of the transaction, you may be able to make a claim to your bank or card provider under the 'chargeback' scheme. The bank or credit provider will determine if you are eligible to make this claim. They will ask you for copy documents and confirmation that the Company was placed into Administration and that there will be no distribution to unsecured creditors. You should shortly receive a formal letter from the Joint Administrators confirming the above, together with a Notice of Appointment. Please note that some banks or credit card providers only allow you to make a claim for purchases not older than 120 days.

If you are unable to obtain a refund from the above
In the event you are not able to obtain a refund using the above options, you can submit an unsecured claim to the administration. The Joint Administrators will be writing to all customers within 7 days with details on how to submit a claim. Please note that at this stage, we do not anticipate any distribution to unsecured creditors.

The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators, Samuel James Woodward and Timothy Vance, partners of EY Parthenon’s Turnaround and Restructuring team, who act as agents of the Company only and without personal liability. The Joint Administrators may act as data controllers of personal data as defined by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (as incorporated in the Data Protection Act 2018), depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. Ernst & Young LLP and/or the Company may act as a data processor on the instructions of the Joint Administrators. Personal data will be kept secure and processed only for matters relating to the Joint Administrator’s appointment.
