Beat The Storm
• During longer periods of heavy rain or adverse weather, the best thing you can do is bring your garden furniture indoors (particularly cushions!) or store in an outdoor shed.
• If you're struggling for space indoors, get yourself a waterproof & rust proof outdoor storage box for your furniture cushions, soft furnishings & accessories.
• Prolong the life of your outdoor furniture by investing in an all-weather, breathable garden furniture cover. A high quality cover will protect your furniture from the elements, whilst allowing air to circulate preventing moisture build-up.
• Rattan & contemporary outdoor furniture is intentionally lightweight for ease of movement, so if there is a heavy storm on the horizon, it’s a good idea to keep your sets weighted down. If you plan on keeping furniture outdoors during strongs winds, stack any bar stools or stackable chairs, and find something to weigh down your other pieces.
• If you didn’t quite manage to get your cushions in on time, the best thing for them is to be air-dried when the weather clears up, preventing any damage to their quality. If dirt or muddy water stains have appeared, hand-wash any smaller spots with a simple, gentle solution. Our rattan furniture cushion covers are also machine washable if needed.
